Our fencer has been training with Coach Achiko for 6 years and we couldn’t be happier with Scarsdale Fencing Center. The facilities, staff, and fencing community of parents and families is wonderful! The club itself is modern and easy to access by car (and metronorth, which is great for older students who can travel alone). Coaches Achiko and Maksim are top-notch and provide excellent coaching during private lessons and at tournaments. Their holiday camps and group classes are a great for beginners and elite fencers alike. The club is welcoming of all fencers and the coaches take pride in supporting each individual fencer to be their best.

Scarsdale fencing center is a bright modern fencing club with top notch instructors. My two boys have been coached by Achiko Lortkipanidze for 6 years and they have grown from beginner fencers to top ranked in the country and being recruited for Div 1 colleges. More importantly than their success is how Coach Achicko supports them even when they fail and ensures they keep their love of the sport.

Scarsdale Fencing Center is a top notch fencing academy dedicated to saber. Location is accessible from NYC by train and there’s parking aswll if you’re driving. Coach Achiko and Coach Maksim truly care about their students and development. My daughter has been with Coach Achiko for a few years now and we travel between NYC and Scarsdale just to see him! He cares deeply about his students and is extremely communicative with parents. He goes out of his way to make busy schedules work so that students get his time. We have full trust in the teaching and coaching at Scarsdale Fencing Center and LOVE the coaches!

Scarsdale Fencing Center ( SFC) SFC is a great environment that is conducive to learning about such an intriguing sport. The coaches are in complete control of the program, which is geared toward improving performance, knowledge, and enjoyment of the sport of fencing.

World class coaches, a great group of kids,modern and clean facilities, and the results! SFC students consistently place high in regional, national and international competitions, and the school has an excellent track record of college placement. We love it! (can you tell?)

So glad that we have this new fencing club open in Westchester! Great coaching, outstanding program and classes for saber fencing. Kids of all ages can receive world class coaching. The coaches had numerous fencers in team USA, winners of National and international competitions, and currently coaching in Yale. Thoughtful approach to all students, great spirit and support.

Really beautiful Fencing Hall with state-of-the-art equipment. Allot of natural light. World-class coaching by both Maestros. Very nice people and great fencers.

A ++ facility with dedicated instructors and staff. Maksim and Achiko are amazing. They break down every detail and make it very easy to understand. My son is always excited after his lessons. Best thing: personalized attention, not a "factory" where you are just another nameless face in a large clinic session. Two enthusiastic thumbs up
