I knew Coach Achiko and the great things that he and his staff have accomplished in such a short period of time prior to My Daughter joining in January 2023. When we decided to make the switch to SFC in the middle of the current season after attending their Winter Training Camp, they welcomed us and made my daughter’s transition completely easy. This was the best decision that we made for our daughter in her young fencing journey.

World class instruction by the most knowledgeable, kind, patient, empathetic and encouraging coaches. SFC manages to prepare students for the toughest of competitions while maintaining a feeling of family and friendship among members in the club.

So glad that we have this new fencing club open in Westchester! Great coaching, outstanding program and classes for saber fencing. Kids of all ages can receive world class coaching. The coaches had numerous fencers in team USA, winners of National and international competitions, and currently coaching in Yale. Thoughtful approach to all students, great spirit and support.

A ++ facility with dedicated instructors and staff. Maksim and Achiko are amazing. They break down every detail and make it very easy to understand. My son is always excited after his lessons. Scarsdale Fencing Club is new and elegant, but this club is special because of the people; the coaches and the community. With compassion, coaches Achiko and Maxim guide fencers to be at their highest level. The coaches emphasize discipline and diligence, and inspire fencers to love the sport. The community - both fencers and parents - is wonderful. Our boys have formed a strong bond with other fencers, who are incredibly supportive and caring. The parents are very helpful, and our family is absolutely thrilled to be part of this club.

Scarsdale fencing center is a bright modern fencing club with top notch instructors. My two boys have been coached by Achiko Lortkipanidze for 6 years and they have grown from beginner fencers to top ranked in the country and being recruited for Div 1 colleges. More importantly than their success is how Coach Achicko supports them even when they fail and ensures they keep their love of the sport.

Exceptional youth program, specializing in saber fencing. Coaches Achiko and Maksim have years of teaching and fencing experience. They have produced world-class level fencers while making this complex and mentally challenging sport both fun and interesting for kids. The studio is very nice and clean.
